Irvine Spectrum Center

IRVINE, Calif. -- Any world traveler loves to shop. And you can do just that at the Irvine Spectrum Center which is one of Southern California's most popular shopping and dining destinations. So popular is it, in fact, that the center is visited by more than 15 million people each year.

That large number of visitors has lead to the Irvine Spectrum Center being rated no 2 out of 7 attractions by TripAdvisor.

Irvine Spectrum Center is a huge entertainment mega-complex and adult playground that has such attractions as movie theaters, eateries and arcade games.

Here are some reviews from those who recommend a visit (or three) to the Irvine Spectrum Center:

"Tortoiserunner" in Laguna Hills says : "My favorite thing to do is go on a Saturday afternoon for lunch at Ruby's diner, buy a couple movie tickets from them, and then go see a show. Great place for families, date nights, shopping, or hanging out."

"Interviewtraveler" from Little Rock Arkansas says: " As for entertainment, there's a large movie theatre, a Dave and Buster's, and the Improv. There's even a Ferris wheel.

The Spectrum has a nice outdoors, Orange County feel with lots of nice fountains...Overall, the Spectrum is a fun place for dining, entertainment, shopping, etc."

and finally, " ATripAdvisor Member" says:

"It has great bars, fun bars, country, dueling pianos, heated lamps, since it is an outdoor shopping center. The movie theater is the best that I have been too...it is a popular hangout for all ages."

So are there any events open right now specially for the holiday season? Glad you asked.

Here they are:

Center Events

October 29 - February 21, 2011 Ice Rink NOW OPEN

November 20 - November 21, 2010 Test Drive A Cadillac

November 26 - December 31, 2010 Gift Cards are Getting Wild Returns!

With so much going on, it would crazy not to go and visit the Irvine Spectrum Center.

San Francisco World travelers can get there by flying to John Wayne International Airport. Though it's a long way, driving is possible. Use Google maps and exit at Irvine Center Dr. at intersection of I-405, I-5, and Hwy. 133 Irvine, Orange County, California, United States
