OC PARKS PRESENTS THE
2014 SUMMER CONCERT SERIES

(Orange County, Calif.) - OC Parks welcomes back its annual outdoor summer concert series. Ten free concerts at Craig Regional Park, Mason Regional Park, Irvine Regional Park, Mile Square Regional Park and Bluff Park at Salt Creek Beach will present Southern California artists performing live under the summer sky on Thursday evenings June 26 through August 28.

Craig Regional Park in Fullerton will kick off the summer concert series with two free concerts. Thursday, June 26 welcomes acclaimed No Doubt tribute band No Duh performing with Verdell. July 3 brings U2 replica The Joshua Tree with Mia Koo.

The concert series continues at Mason Regional Park in Irvine with two free concerts on Thursday evenings. July 10 presents the California Country trio Calico with Alice Wallace. 1980s sensation Flashback Heart Attack takes the stage July 17 with The Devious Means.

Irvine Regional Park will be hosting two free concerts. The music kicks off with pop world artist Suburban Legends and Papafish on July 24. Ska comes to the park when GOGO13 performs with The Hawkline Monster July 31.

Next the series visits Mile Square Regional Park in Fountain Valley. Indie rock group Gardens & Villa will hit the stage with Stacy Clark August 7. August 14 welcomes big skatalite tribute band Western Standard Time and Colin Giles.

As the 2014 OC Parks Summer Concert Series nears the end, Bluff Park at Salt Creek Beach brings backyard acoustic jug sensation Moonsville Collective and Annie McQueen with Summer Watson to the stage August 21. Local indie rock icon Matt Costa and the Wheeland Brothers take the stage for the series finale August 28.

All of the OC Parks Summer Concerts are part of The World Famous KROQ's ROQ N' Surf summer series. All shows are from 6 to 8 p.m., free concert admission with free parking and open to the public of all ages. Food trucks will be serving on-site at each location. Friends and families are invited to come out, bring a blanket and a beach chair and enjoy great local live music under the stars at OC Parks this summer season.
