Description

Northwood Gratitude and Honor Memorial along with the City of Irvine invite you to view this important photographic tribute to all the Fallen from California. This beautiful exhibit is a tribute to the ultimate sacrifice made by over 700 Californians killed in Afghanistan and Iraq while wearing our country's uniform.

Colonel Willy Buhl USMC and Gold Star Dad Donald Trueblood will be our guest speakers along with our local Gold Star Moms. Lee Williams with Operation KILO. Killed in Action Memorial Project will honor the memories of the fallen with his beautiful battle cross memorials. Katrina Magpayo Pesek will sing the National Anthem and another song that will certainly touch your heart. The Tustin Young Marines continue to be a special part of our ceremonies along with Irvine's own 2/11 Marines and a US Army color guard. Jim Ziegler, will provide Taps as he has done for every ceremony since was the Memorial was dedicated.

Guests are invited to view the exhibit followed by a caravan to the Northwood Gratitude and Honor Memorial for a candle lighting ceremony. Free name rubbing materials also will be available at that time.
