A Restaurant with a Vision
Last week, I had the pleasure of attending a press trip in Irvine, Calif., which lies directly in the center of Southern California's famous Orange County. While touring the city's various hotels and attractions, I was introduced to an upscale, family-owned restaurant named Andrei's Conscious Cuisine & Cocktails. The restaurant specializes in sustainable local food and features a delightful ambience, exquisite cuisine and first-rate service.
While all of this may sound typical, the restaurant's story and guiding principal are anything but. It turns out that Andrei's is not named after an owner or successful chef, but a family member who tragically died.
