Breakers Season Tickets On Sale Now

IRVINE, Calif. (February 12, 2013) - The Orange County Breakers will welcome former world No. 1 Andy Roddick (Springfield Lasers) and the world's top-ranked doubles team Bob and Mike Bryan (Texas Wild) to the Bren Events Center on the campus of UC Irvine during the upcoming 38th season of Mylan World TeamTennis presented by GEICO.

Roddick, the top pick in today's Mylan WTT Marquee Draft, returns to competitive tennis with Mylan WTT this summer for the first time since his final professional match at the 2012 US Open. This is the 7th Mylan WTT season for the Austin, Texas resident and first since 2010, when he was a member of the Philadelphia Freedoms.

The Bryan brothers are Mylan WTT mainstays, suiting up for their 10th straight season and 11th overall. The American twins recently won an all-time record 13th Grand Slam team title at the Australian Open.

"When Andy and the Bryans visit with their teams this season at the Bren Center, we know the competition will be tough on the court. But the atmosphere of being so up close and personal to these top American stars is something we are really excited to bring to our fans," said Breakers General Manager Kerry Schneider. "We plan to put together a team at next month's Roster Draft that can take us even further than last year."

The Breakers will once again be coached by Trevor Kronemann. Leading the team for the seventh year in a row, Kronemann will look to build off guiding the team to the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference Playoffs last year. The Breakers are playing their 11th season in the Orange County area and will host seven home matches. The regular season is slated to run from July 7-24, with the full schedule being released the week of March 4.

At the end of the regular season, the top two teams from both the Western and Eastern Conferences advance to the 2013 Mylan WTT Conference Championships which will be hosted on Thursday, July 25 by the top-seeded team in each Conference. The 2013 Mylan WTT Finals will be contested on the home court of the Eastern Conference Champions on Sunday, July 28.
