World travelers who love learning about astronomy will be pleased to know that there will be astronomy classes at the Balloon Park, from now through May 27, 2011. The event takes place at the Orange County Great Park.

There is free admission and parking. In these classes visitors will be taught all about the world of astronomy and the class will provide telescopes that are very high-powered so you can see the moon, the stars and the planets, up close and personal.

You will even be given maps of the stars that you can use as a guide. Recommended viewing age is 9 and above and the classes run depending on the weather conditions.

Friday, March 25: 7:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 30: 8:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
Friday, May 13: 8:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
Friday, May 27: 8:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
