Organization Recognized for Official Irvine Visitors Guide Seventh Year in a Row

Destination Irvine received a Gold Award in the MarCom 2017 Competition for the organization’s 2017-2018 Official Irvine Visitors Guide.

The MarCom Awards recognize outstanding achievement by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of marketing and communication materials and programs. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers. Over 6,500 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and 17 other countries were submitted for the 2017 competition.

"To be recognized seven years in a row by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals for the production of our publication is an honor,” said Bryan Starr, President/CEO, Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce. “Destination Irvine takes pride in its marketing efforts.”

Winners range in size from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies. Destination Irvine worked with publisher Lunar Cow to produce the winning guide.
