Emerging designers showcase their latest fashion at one of the premier events of the season in California at the Irvine Spectrum Center. This exciting event has welcomed notable celebrity designers like Lauren Conrad, Olympic medalist Gretchen Blieler, Adam Saaks of Ed Hardy, and others. And, this year is the second appearance by Project Runway alum and red carpet staple Nick Verreos.

"Style Week Orange County has set a precedent as the area's must-attend fashion event," said Stacie Ellis, Marketing Director of Irvine Spectrum Center. "Both Orange County and Irvine Spectrum Center are proven trend setters and style leaders and we're proud to showcase the latest fashions and emerging brands that our sophisticated customers demand."

Hosting the Style Week Orange County at the Irvine Spectrum Center is perfect because you're in the middle of over 130 retail stores, restaurants and entertainment venues. So, whether you're looking for the hottest fashions on the rack or the perfect gift for someone special, or just want to enjoy a bit to eat and an evening out; you'll find plenty of options at the Irvine Spectrum Center.

Among the shops you'll find at the Irvine Spectrum Center are unique boutiques featuring everything from children's clothing to pet designs; plus Nordstrom, Macy's, Target, and H&M. There is also one of the biggest movie theater's in the nation; Edwards Irvine Spectrum 21, that premiers Hollywood's latest films, and more dining options than you can imagine.

Of course, Style Week Orange County is a event not to miss because the Irvine Spectrum Center kicks off the event with The Rack Rave, and then fashion shows begin in front of the Giant Wheel Court.

If you want a closer glimpse at the fashion and the creative minds behind them join one of the pre-events that include presentations by the the FIDM instructors, who give you a behind-the-scenes look into the concept and production of a garment in the FIDM Design School in Action. We always find it amazing to watch the designers while they sketch and illustrate their ideas.

Events like this give you a real feel for what goes into creating fashions you see on the runaway; from draping a three-dimensional design to the patternmaker, who uses sketches and draping to make the pattern. It's an amazing experience for anyone who loves fashion!
