1. Wow Bento

Topping the list is Wow Bento. Located at 10 McLaren, Suite A in the East Industrial Complex, the Japanese and Hawaiian spot is the highest-rated affordable poke spot in Irvine, boasting 4.5 stars out of 502 reviews on Yelp.

In addition to bowls, the eatery also offers poke nachos and wraps. It's open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and closed on weekends.

2. H20 Poke & Grill

Next up is Lower Peters Canyon's H2O Poke & Grill, at 13262 Jamboree Road (in The Market Place). With four stars out of 786 reviews on Yelp, the Hawaiian and Japanese spot, offering poke and more, has proven to be a local favorite for those looking for a budget-friendly option. 

"H2O Poke Fish & Grill presents the utmost modernization of the booming poke bowl concept," according to its Yelp profile. "The palate of the company's target market continuously grows toward Asian cuisine in the last few years alone."

3. Maka Poke & Teriyaki

Business District's Maka Poke & Teriyaki, located at 17300 Red Hill Ave., Suite 190, is another top choice. Yelpers give the inexpensive Asian fusion and Hawaiian spot, which offers poke and more, 4.5 stars out of 145 reviews.

Order a three-scoop or five-scoop bowl, with your choice of base, mix, sauces, proteins and toppings. In addition, to poke, the eatery offers teriyaki dishes and appetizers like gyoza.
