Andy Roddick, Bryan Brothers and Sam Querrey to visit the Bren Events Center this July

IRVINE, Calif. (March 6, 2013) - The Orange County Breakers open the 38th season of Mylan World TeamTennis presented by GEICO on July 7 with a home matchup at the Bren Events Center versus the Philadelphia Freedoms.

With a schedule heavy with matches against Western Conference teams, including four against in-state rival Sacramento Capitals, the Breakers play back-to-back matches on July 7 and 8 to start at home before heading on the road for a three-match trip July 10-12.

Returning to Orange County on July 13, the Breakers will welcome former world No. 1 Andy Roddick when he leads his Springfield Lasers to town. Roddick was the top pick in the Mylan WTT Marquee Draft and returns to competitive tennis with Mylan WTT this summer for the first time since his final professional match at the 2012 US Open.

The world's top-ranked doubles team Bob and Mike Bryan visit the Breakers on July 16 when the Texas Wild play in Orange County for the second time, the third in a four-match season series against the two teams. The Bryan brothers are Mylan WTT mainstays, suiting up for their 10th straight season and 11th overall. Earlier this year, the American twins won an all-time record 13th Grand Slam team title at the Australian Open.

The team travels east for matches on July 18-20 and then returns to California for back-to-back matches against rival Sacramento (home on July 21 and away on July 22). Sam Querrey, currently ranked No. 23 in the world, is expected to join Sacramento for both matches. The Breakers wrap up the 2013 regular season on July 24 at home versus the Springfield Lasers.

The Breakers will play their seven home matches at the Bren Events Center, their indoor venue on the campus of UC Irvine. All matches in the state-of-the-art arena will have chairback seating and the team is planning several themed promotions throughout the season. Among the theme nights are military appreciation, mascot birthday party, celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Billie Jean King's historic Battle of the Sexes victory and charity affiliations.

"Breakers matches are a great night out for fans of all ages," said Breakers' General Manager Kerry Schneider. "In addition to the high-level tennis competition on the court, there is pre-match poster making and kids zone, concessions and vendor booths, and a post-match autograph session for kids 16 and under at every match." Schneider announced a free racket program has been added for 2013, with junior rackets being distributed at select matches and youth events throughout the season.

Breakers season tickets and groups are now on-sale. Season packages range from $105 to $1,100 and VIP Deck tables are also available, starting at $3,000. Individual match night tickets will be on sale in May, but group sales for selected single nights are currently available for groups of 10 or more people.
