It offers a collection of over 150 world-class department stores and specialty shops, over 60 of which are found nowhere else in Orange County including Kate Spade, Jonathan Adler, Bloomingdale's Home Store and Michael Stars. High-end designer Halston Heritage, favored by celebrity style icons such as Sarah Jessica Parker, will open its first Orange County boutique at Fashion Island this fall. Designer Kendra Scott, the queen of contemporary statement jewelry, opened her first Orange County boutique at the center earlier this year.

The center is home to Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, Macy's and Orange County's only Neiman Marcus, all of which offer the highly regarded signature brands and designer labels sought by both domestic and international travelers. In-store designer boutiques offer men's and women's fashion and accessories from renowned designers such as Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Gucci, Chanel, Balenciaga, Marc Jacobs, Dolce & Gabbana and more.

Many of the latest fashion and accessories by rising new designers are found at Fashion Island, including contemporary collections from Rachel Zoe, Robert Rodriguez, Amanda Uprichard, and Rebecca Taylor available at Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdale's. Many of the hottest upcoming designers hail from California including Juicy cofounders, Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor, creators of Skaist-Taylor, dubbed "California eccentric" and featured at Neiman Marcus. One of the most sought after contemporary brands, L.A. based JOIE, draws its inspiration from the Southern California lifestyle and is featured at its own boutique shop as well as Bloomingdale's and Neiman Marcus. Los Angeles-based luxury eyewear manufacturer, Dita, a brand favored by high profile style-makers and celebrities, calls Fashion Island home with its Dita Legends shop featuring a full array of sunglasses, eyeglasses and select vintage frames.

Well-known specialty shops also attract visitors seeking signature brands such as True Religion, Bebe, 7 For All Mankind, Ella Moss and Lucky Brand. However, Fashion Island is most famous for its collection of unique retail offerings - forty-six of which are exclusive to Orange County, eight are exclusive to Southern California, three are exclusive to the West Coast and nine of which are located nowhere else in the United States! The OC's largest Apple store is also at Fashion Island.

Visitors will discover new and exciting retailers not found at home, such as American Rag Cie, featuring a unique mix of international emerging designers, causal apparel, designer jeans, footwear, vintage collectibles, French housewares, music and books. LA-based designer Trina Turk is known for her graphic prints and color on signature dresses, sportswear, handbags, sunglasses and swimwear. About The Irvine Company

Fashion Island is owned and managed by The Irvine Company, an internationally renowned real estate development company known for its award-winning master-planned communities, its vast portfolio of high-quality investment properties, and its leadership in conservation and natural resource management. Founded in 1864, the Irvine Company's growing real estate portfolio encompasses office, apartment, retail and resort holdings located throughout California's premier markets, including assets in San Diego, Orange and Los Angeles counties, and holdings in Northern California. As a steward of some of America's most beautiful and scientifically important open space and parklands, the company has donated to Orange County more than half of the historic 93,000-acre Irvine Ranch in Orange County-50,000 acres-to permanently preserve these lands. The U.S. Department of Interior and the State of California have designated these parklands as "Natural Landmarks," one of the most prestigious land preservation designations. The privately held, diversified company traces its roots to the 1860s with the formation of The Irvine Ranch® from Mexican and Spanish land grants.
