Destination Irvine Team Expands to Include Dave Lucey

Destination Irvine has expanded its team to include Dave Lucey as Sales Manager. Lucey will promote to the national market Irvine's sports facilities as a preferred destination for large-scale sporting events.

"The addition of Dave to the Destination Irvine staff answers the demand of a growing sports market as the development of the Great Park sports facilities are nearing completion and become available to host major events," said Linda DiMario, vice president of Economic Development & Tourism, Greater Irvine Chamber. "His efforts will help Irvine increase its footprint in the sports market, not just in Southern California but throughout the U.S."

Lucey joined the Destination Irvine staff in April and brings more than 15 years of hotel sales experience in the Orange County market, concentrating on the sports and specialty markets. Working with Hilton, Intercontinental Hotels Group and Wyndham properties in Irvine for more than 11 years, he has a great sense of the market.

Lucey attended Cal State Fullerton and currently lives in Yorba Linda.
