Destination Irvine Winner in the 2015 MarCom Awards Competition
Organization Recognized for Official Irvine Visitors Guide Fifth Year in a Row
Destination Irvine received a Gold Award in the MarCom 2015 Competition for the organization's 2015-2016 Official Irvine Visitors Guide.
The MarCom Awards is an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals. Entries come from corporate
marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers. Over 6,500 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and 15 other countries were submitted for the 2015 competition.
"To be recognized five years in a row by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals for the production of our publication is a true honor," said Wendy Haase, Director of Tourism Marketing, Destination Irvine. "We take pride in our marketing efforts being recognized."
Winners range in size from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune
