Organization Recognized for Official Irvine Visitors Guide Sixth Year in a Row

Irvine, Calif., November 9, 2016 - Destination Irvine received a Gold Award in the MarCom 2016 Competition for the organization's 2016-2017 Official Irvine Visitors Guide.

The MarCom Awards recognize outstanding achievement by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of marketing and communication materials and
programs. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers. Over 6,500 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and 17 other countries were submitted for the 2016 competition. 

"To be recognized six years in a row by the Association of Marketing and Communication
Professionals for the production of our publication is an honor," said Wendy Haase, Director of Tourism Marketing, Destination Irvine. "We take pride in our marketing efforts being recognized."

Winners range in size from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune
