Calling all dancers ages 7-18, who love to perform and love Disneyland:

The City of Irvine's Community & Recreation Services has an amazing performance opportunity for dancers; taught and facilitated by Irvine-based community dance instruction company OC Dance Productions, the ‘Dance the Magic Parade Performer Class' is a 10-week course, meeting once a week to learn parade performer technique and Dance the Magic choreography to be performed down Disneyland's Main St, U.S.A. in Dance the Magic's Holiday Spectacular Parade on December 14th, 2013.

Two classes will take place at Irvine's University Community Park dance room starting this upcoming Fall Session: September 2013, but enrollment opens August 5th (yes in 3 days! The classes are available for online viewing NOW) This City of Irvine dance class is open to both Irvine and non-Irvine Residents, but if you don't live in or near Irvine there will also be a City of Newport Beach and a City of Fountain Valley Class.

Why is there a pre-approval application for prospective dancers?
To ensure that participants are aware and prepared for the level of commitment that is needed from both the dancer and parents, the choreography and technique, and the Disney and Dance the Magic parade performer expectations and requirements. This is a phenomenal performance experience that OC Dance Productions is excited to share with dancers!
