On Saturday March 3, 2018, Orange County Restaurant Week celebrated 10 years with a launch party at the Marriott Irvine Spectrum;  kicking off the next 7 days of food-filled fun at restaurants all over the county. Visit the OC Restaurant Week website and search pre-fixe lunch and dinner menus by price or city. I am a huge advocate of experiencing OCRW as it's not only a great way to try a new restaurant or visit one of your faves; but it brings together the food and hospitality industry and celebrates our local businesses. There's a vast variety of restaurants at different price points participating that you won't have any trouble finding restaurants you'll want to dine at for lunch or dinner.

Festivities during the launch party included food, spirits, music and wine from OCRW restaurants, all within the surroundings of the new, redesigned Marriott Irvine Spectrum hotel (did you know they just launched their rooftop bar Hive and Honey? See more here). During the event, I literally got a taste of what is in store on OC Restaurant Week menus and I can't wait to experience more OCRW offerings; if you're interested in checking out a couple of posts highlighting a few 2018 participating restaurants, check out my post on Latin Flavors here, and Ellen's post on Four Great Spots to Try Something New. Enjoy OC Restaurant Week from Sunday March 4 - Saturday March 10.
