The Peking Duck has lured diners and powered the migration of this group from Beijing to Irvine. Cooked to order and meticulously sliced into tender petals of meat crowned with crackling amber skin, the royal bird comes splayed on an oval platter, along with the traditional fixings - slivers of cucumber, scallions, a pot of roast duck sauce and an aluminum steamer of stacked bing, the lace-thin crepes to fill as you wish.
