Deerfield Community Park

A beautiful 10-acre park featuring volleyball, tennis and racquetball courts, disc or Frisbee golf, bike trails and play areas.

Irvine Heritage Park

This quaint park has children play areas, an amphitheater, a lake, lighted soccer fields, lighted tennis courts, basketball, volleyball, racquetball course and barbecues and picnic tables.

Irvine Ranch Historic Park

Irvine Ranch Historic Park is a 16.5 acre special use park that retains 24 original ranch structures that represent the proud agricultural history of Orange County and, specifically, the Irvine Ranch. It was once one of the world’s greatest producers of Valencia oranges, and a leader in dry farming and livestock.

Mountains to Sea Trail

Mountains to Sea Trail is a 6.4 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Irvine, California that offers the chance to see wildlife and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, running, and bird watching.

Orchard Hill

This three-mile, multi-use trail features a double loop and skirts the edge of a working avocado orchard. The larger 3-mile outer loop is relatively strenuous, with a substantial elevation gain over a short distance in certain sections.

Quail Hill

The 2.8-acre Quail Hill Trailhead provides a great location to connect to southern Irvine’s extensive trail network. The trailhead is located at the end of Sand Canyon Road and marks the beginning of the Quail Hill Loop Trail, an easy two-mile natural surface trail at the foot of Quail Hill that is open to the public from dawn to dusk.

San Joaquin Wildlife Marsh & Sanctuary

San Joaquin Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary are comprised of more than 300 acres of restored coastal freshwater wetlands. Twelve miles of trails serve as an oasis for walkers, joggers, and birdwatchers as well as a living laboratory for students, teachers, and the public. The sanctuary is home to 100 different species of birds.

Shady Canyon

Turtle Rock Nature Center

The Turtle Rock Nature Center is located at the base of the San Joaquin Hills and serves as a community resource for environmental interest and concern. The 5-acre nature preserve is both a home for wildlife and an outdoor classroom where visitors and program participants learn to protect our natural environment.

Rancho San Joaquin is set along a coastal inlet with three different lakes as a backdrop and is home to some of South Orange County’s finest and most challenging greens. The course was designed by William Francis Bell.

Strawberry Farms Golf Club

This course combines the rural beauty and tranquility of the surrounding area with the challenges of true championship golf. Nestled in the canyons of Irvine, a unique and beautiful location for any event, the par-71, 6,700-yard course is set amid canyons and wetlands.
