Lunar New Year at Diamond Jamboree
Celebrate Lunar New Year at Diamond Jamboree Irvine with an evening of vibrant culture, tradition, and community. Join the festivities on Sunday, February 15, 2026, starting at 4:30 p.m. with a Shaolin Kung Fu performance by the Shaolin Warrior Academy, followed by an energetic dance performance by Team Project XP at 5 p.m., and a traditional Lion Dance by the Qing Wei Lion Dance Troupe at 6 p.m. Guests can also enjoy free giveaways and calligraphy crafts, making it a festive and family-friendly way to welcome the new year.
Lunar New Year Parade and Festival at Great Park Live
The first-ever Lunar New Year Parade and Festival will debut at the Great Park on Saturday, February 7, celebrating the Year of the Horse with a lively showcase of culture, music, and tradition. Presented by the Asian American Museum at Great Park Live, the event will begin with a colorful parade at 11 a.m., featuring marching bands, schools, community organizations, and multicultural performance groups along the Great Park Historical Timeline pathway. The celebration will continue at Great Park Live with a festival offering live music and dance, family-friendly games, Mahjong Bingo, traditional arts and crafts, calligraphy, and a variety of Asian cuisine, with festivities running through 4:30 p.m. Buy tickets here.
Lunar New Year at The Barnyard at Tanaka Farms
Celebrate Lunar New Year with a festive visit to The Barnyard at Tanaka Farms on February 7 and 8 at 10:30 a.m., where families and visitors can enjoy a fun, interactive presentation highlighting cultural traditions. The experience also includes a hands-on craft activity and a special opportunity to meet the horse up close, making it both educational and memorable
Jazz in the Palm Court
Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of composers and musicians, this event reflects the depth and breadth of jazz — spanning soulful blues and swing to the inventive sounds of bebop and contemporary jazz. Guests are encouraged to bring folding chairs and blankets for comfortable seating around the Palm Court. Jazz in the Palm Court will be held on January 25, March 14, and April 11 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Exhibitions at Great Park Gallery
Explore three compelling exhibitions at Great Park Gallery that celebrate storytelling through distinct artistic lenses — from Daniela García Hamilton’s richly embroidered reflections on bicultural identity, to Kristina Rose Baker’s evocative reimagining of the diver suspended between worlds. Completing the experience, Vonn Sumner’s This Is Krazy! brings comic-inspired narratives to life through surreal, painterly scenes that blend pop culture, mythology, and art history. Exhibition will run from January 25 – April 12.
Hope Center for the Arts: Be Seen at Irvine City Hall
Irvine-based nonprofit HOPE Center for the Arts has been dedicated to empowering adults with disabilities through the arts. The exhibition HOPE Center for the Arts: Be Seen presents a glimpse into the vibrant range of the HOPE community’s talent and vision. On view are works spanning diverse media and subject matter, showcasing the talents nurtured at HOPE’s studio, alongside a focused presentation of pieces by Donald Perry and James Bruce Robertson, two of HOPE’s most prolific artists. This display of collective energy showcases the transformative power of creativity and inclusion through visual and performing arts. Exhibition will run from January 12 – March 20.
