Watch the U.S. Men’s National Team Train at Great Park in Irvine this June

Soccer fans, this is your chance to experience an unforgettable moment in Irvine. The City of Irvine and the U.S. Men’s National Team (USMNT) are inviting the community to attend a special Community Training Session at the Great Park Championship Soccer Stadium on Monday, June 8, from 9:30 a.m. to noon.

The event marks the team’s first official practice at Great Park ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and will be the only public opportunity to watch the USMNT train in Irvine during the tournament. Guests can also enjoy remarks from City officials and representatives from the U.S. Men’s National Team.

As the official Team Base Camp training site for the USMNT, Great Park was selected for its world-class sports facilities and convenient location near SoFi Stadium, where the team will open World Cup play against Paraguay on June 12.

Admission is free, but tickets are required and will be distributed through a lottery system. Community members may register for up to two free tickets per email address now through Monday, May 25 at 10 a.m. Selected applicants will be notified by email on May 29.
