Ryoko Rain x Matsumoto Shave Ice at Irvine Spectrum Center

Join us on Saturday, June 6 at Ryoko Rain at Irvine Spectrum Center for a one-day-only culinary moment as Matsumoto Shave Ice makes its mainland United States debut for the very first time. For this special activation, guests will have the rare opportunity to enjoy a curated menu of the iconic Hawaiian shaved ice favorites served inside Ryoko Rain during regular business hours. Known for its legendary status and loyal following, this is a limited experience visitors and locals alike won’t want to miss.

Joins us on Sunday, June 7, as Ryoko Rain partners with Tanaka Farms for an immersive Luau Festival in Irvine from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Following the historic mainland debut of Matsumoto Shave Ice, this special collaboration brings the island spirit to Tanaka Farms with a full day of culture, flavors, and family-friendly experiences. Guests can enjoy the iconic shaved ice throughout the day alongside live entertainment, local eats, and interactive activities celebrating Polynesian culture.

On Monday, June 8, 2026, the Great Park Championship Soccer Stadium in Irvine will host the U.S. Men’s National Team (USMNT) for its first public practice of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. This event is part of the Community Training Session and will be the only public opportunity to watch the team train at the venue during the tournament.
Strawberry Picking Tours at Tanaka Farms

Strawberry picking season is in full bloom at Tanaka Farms—reserve your spot now for a fun farm experience with limited availability! Admission includes a guided tractor tour, fresh strawberries to pick and enjoy, a bonus veggie harvest, and a visit with barn animals, all in a 45–60 minute adventure.

July 4 Spectacular: Celebrating America 250 and Air Supply

Pacific Symphony’s SummerFest 2026 opens with a celebration of America’s 250th birthday! Stirring patriotic favorites set the stage for an unforgettable evening, followed by a hit-filled performance from legendary soft rock icons Air Supply on their A Matter of Time Tour.
Summer in the City: Concert Series at Mike Ward Park

Rock out, dance, and disco at family-friendly concerts all summer long. Mike Ward Community Park — Woodbridge transforms into a live, outdoor venue featuring a variety of music genres. Concerts begin at 5:30 p.m. Guests can bring picnic-style treats or purchase snacks from local food trucks.

Dance the night away at Irvine Spectrum Center’s Silent Disco experience. Grab a pair of headphones, switch between live DJ channels, and hit the dance floor for an interactive night of music, lights, and nonstop fun every select Saturday from 6–9 p.m. See the schedule here.
Movies on the Lawn at Hicks Canyon

Enjoy an outdoor family movie night on the big screen at Hicks Canyon Community Park. Bring low-back chairs, blankets and a picnic, or purchase tasty treats from gourmet food trucks and a snack bar. Guests can arrive early with food trucks available beginning at 6:30 p.m. Movies begin after sunset and are weather permitting.
